50 Million accounts hacked… 150 countries… Literally billions of thousands of dozens of daily deals EXPOSED!
LivingSocial (@LivingSocial) stresses that no credit card info was compromised so our question is probably the same as yours… “What’s the BFD?”
LivingSocial doesn’t facilitate private communications between users or private profile photos, so what’s the real danger here?

One interesting implication would be if someone, a friend or enemy (the lines can blur when something potentially hilarious could ensue) is able to access your freshly hacked LivingSocial account and sign you up to receive coupons for things like nudist unicycling or interpretive massage.

Favorite part is “This e-mail is important, so please read it to the end.” They rightly cut “Don’t get bored when you get to the ‘cyber-attack on our systems’ part and mark this as spam again.”
